Patient Advocacy
Living with a bleeding disorder involves a complex mix of clinical, emotional, financial, vocational, family and social considerations. At Coram, we believe that providing the right services, at the right time, is vital to helping patients live life to the fullest. The Coram Patient Advocacy program provides a personal patient advocate for each individual on service. Each advocate is an experienced member of the bleeding disorders community and is available to help patients in a variety of ways, including personal and community education (including school education), insurance and reimbursement options, vocational and educational scholarship research, family and social support resources, access to industry and government financial assistance programs, and much more.
